Today I want to talk about book covers that are art! I’m so excited to show you three of my favourites. I mean, look at them! They are beautiful. I just want to take a minute to appreciate the incredibly talented designers. The Bear and the Nightingale’s dust jacket was designed by Head Design, Spin the Dawn’s dust jacket was designed by Tran Nguyen and last but not least This House of Wounds’ cover artwork was designed by Catrin Welz-Stein.
If you have a chance, please do check out their profiles on social media as their collective body of work is just stunning.
I’ve actually started following a lot of designers lately because their work is so inspiring and rejuvenating as a creative.
So, what do you think of beautiful book covers? Personally, it sounds silly but every time I see these covers in my office they just bring me joy and I know we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but objectively, I can absolutely love a designers work and go ever so slightly book nerdy if I want to! These books are just drool worthy.
If you have any, or know of any please do share so we can all check them out and find new designers to follow. It’s officially designer appreciation day today in my house, come and join me.
